Please join us as Steve Killelea, Executive Chairman and Founder of the Institute for Economics and Peace, shares his insights and reflections on the importance of peace for sustainable development, in a presentation at Stanford University, hosted by Freeman Spogli Institute and Latin America Center.
An accomplished entrepreneur, Steve founded the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) to build greater understanding of the interconnection between business, peace and economics, with a particular emphasis on the economic benefits of peace. IEP’s ground-breaking research includes the Global Peace Index, the world’s leading measure of peacefulness, the innovative Positive Peace framework, which identifies the drivers of peace, and the Mexico Peace Index, now in its 4th edition, which was released in April. Steve will share key findings from a decade of peace research and his thoughts about the future of peace.
Light refreshments will be served.
