They do not always carry explosives or guns. At times they remain invisible, yet the consequences of their actions can leave a lasting and devastating impact.
Today’s youth are exposed to and concerned about threats to peace facing our current world. New risks bring about new challenges and yet even in the most challenging of times, there is hope that revolutionary solutions can emerge.
Young people offer innovative perspectives that can help solve some of our greatest global challenges. When it comes to peace, young people hold strong leadership potential and play an important role in the future of peacebuilding. Our young people can emerge as the heroes of our future.
