On Monday, March 4th, from 11:00 am-12:30 pm ET, please join the Alliance for Peacebuilding for the hybrid launch of the Institute for Economics and Peace’s 2024 Global Terrorism Index (GTI). The GTI is an annual comprehensive study that analyzes the impact of terrorism in 163 countries, covering 99.7% of the world’s population.
The conversation will explore the latest trends in violent extremism worldwide by outlining core findings from the 2024 report. Expert speakers will also delve into regional and thematic insights, including increasing and spillover impacts from violent extremism in the Sahel, ecological factors as drivers of violent extremism, the emotional and psychological impacts of violent extremism, and the prevalence of violent extremism within conflict zones.
